BECOME AN AEMD THERAPIST

David Démann has been training therapists in the AEMD Method since 2007, through a 2-year course.

New therapists are certified each year and we support them in the development of their practice through mandatory supervision and continuing education.

To enable those who are not Parisians, or living abroad, to participate more easily in this training, David decided in 2024 to renew the format of this training.
From now on, AEMD learning will still take place over 2 years, at the rate of 15 distance learning days per year, to which are added, 3 X 5 days of face-to-face immersion work each year.
This new format adds 50 hours of training each year and will make the training even more lively and interactive.

Prerequisites: Have completed your Emo-behavioral Analysis Démann Method.

Format: Annual total of 3 X 5 immersive days in person and 15 X 1 day remotely, over two successive years, in groups of 16 people maximum.

Supervision and continuing education of AEMD therapists

AEMD therapists continue their continuing education following their certification.

All certified AEMD therapists are required to participate to monthly small group supervision. The goal of supervision is to provide therapists a space for dialogue and discussion about their clinical cases and challenges. It allows therapists to refine their methodological approach and receive ongoing support in their practice of the AEMD Method.

AEMD therapists are asked to complete their certification following supervision and education. Therapists' continuing education is supported by the organization of themed seminars, information days, and group work sessions on a given topic: deepening the approach, enriching the AEMD Method, and developing new tools.
