AEMD support

The AEMD Method is innovative as it places the therapist in a unique position . The AEMD therapist adopts an integrative, mobile, variable position, in line with the patient's needs.

The sessions take the form of an open and sustained dialogue in which the therapist is active and engaged in the conversation the same way as his patient.

It is neither setback as in classical analytical methods such as psychoanalysis nor in "the aim of" as it can be the case in coaching. This therapeutic know-how, directly derived from the multidisciplinary synthesis that is the AEMD Method, allowing greater efficiency compared to other more rigid therapeutic methods. The connection between patient and therapist is more intense, faster and more balanced.

The therapist supports the patient in:

  • analytical work

  • above all, a work of (re)connection to himself and to his emotions

The AEMD Method is indeed an innovative approach in the management of emotional material . By learning to decrypt emotions surfacing in his words, the patient identifies his inner wounds. The role of the therapist is to lead the "switch" between the inner movement created by the emotion and the outer movement that translates into behaviors. Once his emotional mechanics are deciphered, the patient can begin to consciously modulate the neurotic systems that hindered him.

Indeed, anchoring through emotions allows the patient to perceive better and more quickly and thus to modulate his behavior.

Sessions last 60 to 90 minutes depending on the patient's specific needs.

AEMD therapy is called “brief” and lasts on average 25 sessions at a rate of a session every one or two weeks.
